Bottle Beach
The Foundation funded a project to restore vegetation at Bottle Beach, a 71-acre park that includes a mile of saltwater shoreline on Grays Harbor as well as upland woods, sloughs and marshes.
Grays Harbor is the single most important shorebird feeding area on the Pacific Coast for spring migrating shorebirds. Upward of a million birds rest and feed in the harbor each spring, and more than 130 different species have been observed at the site.
