Lake Wenatchee

The Foundation provided funding for curriculum and materials used for an ongoing educational effort highlighting the danger of wildfires.
Along with the Foundation’s contribution, volunteers with the state’s parks commission put in more than 2,000 hours of work to complete signage and construction.
Lake Wenatchee is a 489-acre camping park with more than 12,000 feet of waterfront on glacier-fed Lake Wenatchee and the Wenatchee River. The park offers camping, swimming and horseback riding, and is a natural wildlife area.
