Wallace Falls
A funding partnership between the Foundation, the Ira Spring Trail Foundation and the Washington Trails Association led to the development of a new 2.5-mile trail connecting the Wallace Falls Railroad Trail to Wallace Lake.
The Wallace Falls State Park Management Area is a 4,735-acre camping park with shoreline on the Wallace River, Wallace Lake, Jay Lake, Shaw Lake and the Skykomish River. Located on the west side of the Cascade Mountains, the park features a 265-foot waterfall, old-growth coniferous forests, fast-moving rivers and abundant wildlife.
A 2010 small and simple grant provides for Small Falls Interpretive Trail signs.
