Washington has a network of 124 developed State Parks with lakes, beaches, forests, hiking trails, historical landmarks, heritage sites, interpretive centers and much more.

The Washington State Park System has 12 historical houses, 12 day-use facilities, 3 conference centers and numerous cabins, and yurts — all available to rent.

Your State Parks include 8 coastal military forts that abound in historical features like gun batteries, a hot air balloon hangar, an explosives lab and a torpedo storehouse.
